Update configure.ac version string
Add --tags to git describe
safer versioning
Repair autoconfiguration
* Unbreak configure.ac
* add -fi options to autoreconf
* remove install-sh as it's re-generated each time by autoreconf -fi
* update .gitignore with more generated files
